Here's a video that gives a more humorous perspective on the what a "feminist" is. Do you agree with what he's saying?

  1. I agree with this guy, he is right about the whole eqaulity and stereotypes with men and woman however society is what holds back equality. Woman are always seen as a distraction to men and sexual beings, so in a woman's mind all we want is a nice date and some attention. Which is not equal when it comes to "guys paying, opening the doors, taking up shoppins, buying woman flowers". This is a great video because I know that it is bringing awareness of feminism to a younger audience and using real everyday examples. Although I know it is unequal, I would still love to be taken out, given gifts, and attention; but then again I am no feminist.

  2. I definitely agree with him also. I pretty much have the same view as him, I mean I get the whole feminism movement and everything, but sometimes it can just be a little too much. I mean i've had teachers in the past that would discuss this topic, but were clearly standing on the side of the feminist, thus not allowing anyone to get another opinion in should they run the risk of being on her bad side for the rest of the year. But I think that although some of the goals sought out by feminists are great, especially equality in the workforce, the approach taken at times can be counter productive. I also think that in many cases, as this guy brings up about a girl asking a guy out, or buying him something, there has been some giant steps. It seems like now it isn't as necessary for a guy to ask a girl out or for him to even make the first move.
